Three Mendocino County Tribes — Potter Valley Tribe, Hopland Band of Pomo Indians, and Guidiville Rancheria of California — sought to understand the energy conditions of their homes and community buildings, and develop a roadmap for weatherization.

Lake County’s agricultural sector — defined by small, family-owned farms producing winegrapes, pears, walnuts, and livestock — is under pressure from wildfire, drought, market volatility, aging farm populations, and limited market infrastructure.

Village Ecosystems habitat restoration
We are supporting Village Ecosystems’ headwater restoration in Mendocino County! The project involves off-stream storage on a tributary of Tenmile Creek, that will release water for salmon when it is needed most.
